With a budget of €14M for the renovation and extension of the buildings, this new complex, built by BESNARD (LEON GROSSE Group), can accommodate more than 392 seated spectators during competitions. Seating is provided on the fixed balcony stands and on Husson International SPORT S telescopic grandstands, in the new specialized men’s and women’s gymnastics hall (GAM/GAF), one of the largest in the Île-de-France region.
The challenge was to install the new sports grandstands between the glued-laminated beams of the balcony and the floor of the specialized hall. Each 4-row module was therefore custom-built to adapt to the different configurations of the hall during training sessions or official competitions. Opening and closing of the grandstands is carried out using two manual towing bars. The fixed and telescopic grandstands are finished with Gerflor Impression PVC flooring and benches made of glued-laminated beech wood.
